A Huron by birth and a native of the small Indian reserve of Weymontachie of the Upper St.Maurice in Québec, Mr. Pierre Picard grew up among the Atikamek people. Since his childhood, he has developed a deep love for nature, a profound respect for animals and a great appreciation of the legends and people of the First Nations.
In 1988, he started a company with the goal of marketing the fruits of his hunting. As he began creating hand-made products, he soon discovered his own high level of manual dexterity and creativity.
Since that time, he has never stopped innovating. He particularly respects the customer who treasures what he has transformed from Mother Nature's bounty.
It is therefore only fitting that each of our products is presented with a traditional legend and a respect for time-honoured customs.
